Howdy All,

Sorry I haven't posted in a long, long, long...... well you get the point. I just returned from a couple of weeks back in Thailand visiting my girlfriend's family. For those who don't know yet, last summer while working in the mission clinic in Chiangklang, Thailand I fell head over heals for the beautiful young woman who runs the laboratory, Seng (pronounced like "I sang a song" with your voice rising like you are asking a question). We began dating that summer and corresponded by e-mail after I returned to Dallas to finish up medical school. This spring she in turn came to visit my family and me for three months in Dallas. We grew very close together over that time, and we saw God at work in many ways in our relationship. Seeing where He was guiding us I accompanied Seng back to her home to speak with her parents about me marrying their daughter. God has blessed my trip and given me favor with her parents, and I am happy to announce that Seng and I are officially engaged! I hope to put up further updates and perhaps pictures in the near future.
